On November 1 of this year the tax moratorium on the Internet is set to
expire. If not renewed, Internet users could expect to see a raise
Internet rates as additional taxes could be applied.
There is currently legislation in both the House and Senate to expand
the moratorium for several more years, although some lawmakers would
like to see a permanent ban on taxing the Internet.
