I have a question.  I went to my PCP the other day and asked her to run a test on my to show I am allergic to mercury.  She had no problem with it but even after a call to the hospital lab they say there is no test for mercury allergy.  Can this be true ?  If so how does one prove mercury allergy?  I react violently to thimerosol, the mercury based preservative used in some eye drops and vaccines.

 

I am stumped!
