Hi,
Hope this isn't a repeat because I just tried posting a message and got
an error message after I'd typed my answer out. Oh well...anyway, my
recommendation for buying online is to do your homework first...get
recommendations, check with the better business bureau etc. I got very
burned using a company that was mentioned several times here on this
listserve. I ordered from them twice. The first time was great and I
was happy with my order. The second time was a disaster and I'm out a
couple hundred bucks. My order took 9 months, they changed the price
in the middle and I had to pay more, they entirely changed the style of
the cap and it's virtually unwearable, they sent me gray hair instead
of dark brown. And I've gotten no where with them on the problems. I
filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they did not get
any response from the company either.
I will probably eventually order online again, although obviously not
from that company. Once I find someone reliable, well-recommended,
etc, I will likely try it again.
