RE: [Alopecia Areata Support Group] Re: shall I do it?
Thanks for the encouragement; I’ll
let you know if I go through with it. I know it will be a real growth process
for me if I have the guts. Anyway it’s not for a few weeks yet so I’ll
let you all know later. By the way my eyelashes are now at the point where I
can put on mascara! They are short, colourless and sparse, but with mascara it
gives the impression (especially from the side view) that I have lashes. Way to
go!!!

I think it would be a great idea to get the word out about AA. People just dont know what it is and when they see someone with it, they act oddly. Those that...
Yes, maybe it's the case that we're so sensitive to our hairloss that we attribute the same feelings to others, when really it's not a big deal to them. _____ ...
I think you are right about that Pat. It seems like i'm always uptight about my hairloss even though i'm making a conscious effort to not let it phase me. It...
It will take a lot of guts for me to get up in front of 30 people and expose myself as an alopecian, but I've decided I have to do it for my own self esteem....
Just imagine how much of a courage boost that would be for you and others who deal with AA or AU. Thats what this thing is all about. We've lost a huge part of...
