Nut-free trail mix that is also kosher   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #84 of 731 |
Hi all,

I am forwarding a post from the Jewish-Food list, with permission of
the original poster, Esther. It mentions nut-free kosher chocolate
chips, a kosher nut-free trail mix, and soyrizo for folks that this
might interest. I believe Esther may be joining the list soon....

A while back I posted a recipe for a gumbo using soyrizo, a meatless
spicy soy sauasge..it now has a KSA on it!!! Great also for a veggie
black bean soup!

Also of note there is a site allergygrocer.com that has a site where
you can search by allergy also adding key words such as Kosher. I
found a nut free 5# bag of kosher chocolate cips reasonably priced.
For those with dairy or gluten sensitivities there alre also products;
even if you don't buy off the site there are many product ideas!

There is also a Gultenfree mall site with a product called Not Nuts;
trail mix that is nut free and kosher.

My friend who keeps glatt cannot find fancy chocolates that are nut
free....the one company in Vermont could not afford to be certified.
She found nut free chocolate wafers and made gelt for her son this
past Channukah. Any suggestions for kosher nut free products would be
appreciated!
