Welcome Jill,
I absolutely loved my ped. when we lived in Utah! If you were breastfeeding we saw a Nurse Practitioner, that was also a Lactation Consultation for the first 1 week visit. They wanted you to nurse during the visit so she could observe latch, suck, swallow and spent a good hour with me even though this was my 4th. They respected my views on immunizations and as long as I was informed they had no problems with waiting to immunize. but did discuss it with me at each visit. The office was split in two. One side for sick and one for well visits. Two completely different entrances and staff worked on one side or the other. There were 2 Peds and 4 NP's in the office. They had a 24 hour number to call for questions.
I was not happy when my insurance changed and I had to change Dr's.
Jen L.

Subject: [alaboroflove_webgroup] New Pediatric Clinic in Lawrenceville
Hi, my name is Dr. Jill Overcash. I am a pediatrician and I am
presently staying at home with my baby, Liz, born in November. I took
Teresa's childbirth class in September/October. In August, I will
open a pediatric clinic in Lawrenceville. I am still in the planning
stages and I would love to hear back from y'all about things you do
and don't like at the typical pediatric office. Teresa made a great
suggestion about having a lactation consultant available for
appointments. Anything else you would like to see? Thanks, Dr. Jill
