you suppose that will happen without any tubs? switch
and bait for sure! i think we each need to call the
hospital and then email HCA healthcare from their
website.

person is johnel reid... let's let them know what we
think of the fact that they said one thing and did
another- letter campaign here we come!

Tom Gilbert and Johnel Reid: Someone just sent me a
flyer that your hospital at Johns Creek sent out that
stated that you offered water birth- but your labor
and delivery does not even offer tubs.... how is that
possible? Seems your advertising is a bait and switch!
Were you considering it and then budgetary concerns
over rode the desires of the women you hoped to serve?
I think it is time you printed a retraction since many
mothers were choosing your facility based on the
promises you wrote. Sarah, director at the womens
center tells me that there are hopes to retrofit tubs
into the L&D once you are busy- but why should you
become busy when there is water birth offered for
those looking for it at a facility only a short
distance away? I will continue to encourage my clients
to go to hospitals that listen to women and provide
women with ALL of the options- 24 hour anesthesia AND
hydrotherapy for pain relief in labor AND the option
of water birth. Shame on you for stating you were
offering it and then not even putting in tubs on the
floor with these laboring women!
