We need doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered
or licensed vocational/practical nurses and emergency medical
technicians (basic and paramedic) to provide care on the event. All
medical volunteers are required to provide proof of current

Medical Volunteer Opportunities at the Holding Area
Care provided at the holding area is mainly self-help with minimal
intervention from these volunteers. If there are patients who are sick
enough to require actual hands on care, a treatment form must be
started and filed. Nurses/EMT's on this team must bring a copy of
their license with them. We must be able to verify a current license.
Close-toed shoes must be worn - no sandals, Tevas, Birkenstocks, etc.,
as this is a health and safety issue. Medical Volunteers will be
staying to do any patient care that may be needed in the Holding
Medical tent once participants go to the Closing Ceremony, thus they
may not be able to go to the Closing Ceremony.
