AIDA is a freeware diabetes software simulator program of glucose-insulin interaction in diabetes mellitus. The program can be used to see the effects of changes in insulin diet on example patients' blood glucose profiles.

The simulator comes in two main forms - (1) a downloadable program for PCs (and/or Apple Macs running SoftWindows or VirtualPC emulation software) - and (2) a Web-based version called AIDA online which can be used from any computer - with no local downloads or installation being required - provided the machine has an Internet connection and a graphical display. AIDA online even works with WebTV.

This AIDA diabetes simulator announce list allows people to be kept fully informed about developments with AIDA. The list is very quiet and is only used sparingly - for occasional announcements from the AIDA developers regarding updates or enhancements to the AIDA diabetes software range. Please join this list only if you wish to be automatically informed by email about new versions of AIDA.

In particular this list will be used for announcements regarding: (1) the downloadable freeware AIDA diabetes software, (2) AIDA online, and / or (3) important new features at the AIDA Website. Postings are rarely made more than once every 3 or 4 months - so traffic levels are very low. However as a subscriber you will be among the first to hear about new AIDA developments.
