We have a large family too and when Addie was very young my husband and I
would disagree about whether something was even happening. I was sure I saw
something and he said he didn't. Then we always got to the hospital and the
event was over and so I thought they too thought I was crazy. One thing I have
found helpful is to video any events you can. At first I was very
uncomfortable doing this but I found she was never seen by the neuros in Boston
unless
drugged and the episodes over. I have a small minicamcorder that fits in my
purse and I take it everywhere.
It is great to have a big family. They can be such a great help once they
learn about whatever Ian has. I forward a lot of emails to my sisters to keep
them informed about our children's issues.
take care
