Thanks for the letter. Yes, Ashley is on meds for Seizures and for
ahc. She is taking Flunarizine, Trileptal, Lamictal, clonazepam, and
Guanfacine. Three of those meds are for seizures, although this new
doctor that she is seeing, does not think alot of the things that we
think are seizures, really are. They want to put her in the hospital
for 2-5 days and watch her to see if that is what they are or not.
They also think that she has autism. i don't know alot about that,
but i am going to do some research on it. Ashley has hemoplegia
episodes, but are not nearly as bad as they used to be. She may have
one every 2-4 weeks, but they don't last long. The lamictal that her
doctor put her on is for seizures, but for some reason has also
helped with the episodes. She is in a regular school, but is in a
special class with kids with all kinds of problems. I have to go now
thanks.
