Hi Mareta,
I'm afraid I know very little about undergraduate programs in music
therapy. I graduated from the master's program at NYU. When I did
my
internship, however, I met someone who was studying at Molloy in New
Jersey, and it sounded like they had a good solid program. You may
want to contact the American Music Therapy Association with your
question. If you don't have their contact information I'll be glad
to
give it to you.
I think an undergraduate program can give you good preparation, but
I'd also advise thinking of going for a master's down the road. I
think it will give you a more solid credential.
I don't know if I can help with all of your questions, but please
don't hesitate to ask. Maybe there are others on the list who will
know more about this?
