Attention: Unwitting patients of Dr. Harold J.
Hoffman of
The Toronto Hospital for Sick
Children. (1964-1998)

Please find the enclosed Toronto Special article for your attention. My
medical records and X-rays at
http://www.geocities.com/terryparkerjr/ disclose unauthorized
"psychosurgical" and "brain implant"
experimentation,(Dec. 9,1969 & Jan. 27,1972, 14 & 16 years of age)
without informed consent, nor parental
knowledge. This information correlates with the Central Intelligence
Administration (CIA) MK-ULTRA
project of "psychosurgical" and "brain implant" research, upon
"unwitting subjects". Those subjects being
myself, and other children who suffer epilepsy at the Toronto Hospital
for Sick Children. In a Oct. 1973
newsletter by Dr. Peter Breggin, he lists several hospitals across
Canada, carrying out psychosurgical
research. Adverse effects of this butchery has been increase and
variation in seizure disorder, cerebral
hemmorrahaging in the operative field, and status epilepticus, which
claims 2400-4600 lives every year
across Canada. More spooky, these 43 unauthorized metallic implants in
the cerebral cortex are recognized
as manchurian candidate developmental research. Such research, in which
my mother and myself had no
choice, and is not conducive for treating epilepsy, according to
Operating Theatre Technique, by R. J. Brigden
(1969) outlining neurosurgical standard for that year.
While the Ontario College of Physiccians and Surgeons, Ontario Health
Professions Board, Police,and
government, play obstruction, damage control, and concealment. I have
a patient advocate informing me of
a "on-going problem".
Would appreciate to hear from Dr. Hoffman's patients, who have ended
up with with negative results after
brain surgery for epilepsy.
For your attention, I remain.
Truly,
Terry Parker Jr. / aka Robertson

Unnecessary Brain Surgery Leaves Local Man
Lacking Faith in Ontario Medical System

It may sound like something out of a Ken Kesey novel, but would you
believe that Toronto docs are actually picking kids brains apart without written
consent and using their findings to cash-in with US pharmaceutical companies?

It’s true! And local Parkdale hero Terry Parker Jr., wants answers. In
fact, Parker, a former test subject, has devoted over 20-years to bringing the
dirty doctors responsible to justice. And, according to Parker, The Hospital for
Sick Children - one of the most trusted hospitals in the world – has been the
backdrop for unnecessary child lobotomies for over 30-years. “I suffered from
epilepsy for most of my life,” Parker tells the Special. “And when I was 14, Dr.
Harold Hoffman (the former head of neurosurgery at Sick Children’s Hospital)
began his treatments to ‘cure me’.”

Hoffman told Parker and his mother his epilepsy could be cured by
removing scar tissue from his brain. But what he didn’t tell them, was that he,
in fact, was planning to remove far more than that without written consent from
Parker’s mother. And would you believe that he did it, TWICE! That’s right,
Hoffman actually preformed two right temporal lobectomy’s on Parker whereby he
stole perfectly healthy brain tissue. In the end, these lobectomy’s caused him
to continue to have seizures far worse than he had ever experienced in the past.

It was only after the illegal operations took place, that Parker
learned Hoffman was actually performing something called psychosurgery, which is
intentionally used to alter a person’s mental behavior by discarding brain
tissue; a procedure that is nowhere close to curing seizures.

MANCHURIAN CANDIDATES

Between 1964 and 1998, Dr. Harold Hoffman had over 15,000 children
under his care and Parker can only begin to estimate how many of these poor,
defenseless children were used as guinea pigs in Hoffman’s mad quest for
neurological fame and fortune. “I think it would be fair to estimate that 10% of
those 15,741 patients had been tricked into having surgery preformed on them,”
says Parker from his west end residence.

Parker says that it is no coincidence that at the same time he was
being promised a life without seizures; the US government had invested an
estimated six-billion-dollars in research grants towards the examination of
healthy brain tissue. Parker suggests to The Special that his own case of
brain experimentation may be linked to Ewan Camerons research for the CIA in the
50's and 60's.

And there are no documents that prove that Parker or his mother ever
gave consent for psychosurgery. Parker’s mother insists, to the Special, that if
she knew what Hoffman had in mind she would have never let him touch Terry.

However, Parker’s ongoing attempts from 1979 until now about getting to
the truth of these surgeries has been continually hitting brick walls from
bureaucratic pencil pushers like the Ministry of Health and the Ontario Medical
Association, and he believes that a major cover-up between the hospital and
these groups had been going on for years. “I’d go to one place and they’d send
me to the next. I just want to see the signed consent forms that allowed them to
do these procedures on me and other children,” says Parker. “Do you know why
they won’t show me? Because they don’t exist.” To add insult to injury, Parker
claims that during one of the operations, Hoffman had asked to take pictures and
promised Parker copies. “I asked him for the photos and after six-months he gave
me a picture that wasn’t from my operation,” Parker confesses to the Special.
“When I went to see Bill Bryson at the Sick Kid’s Visual Library there was no
record of taking brain surgery pictures during the time of my operations.”

Dr. Warren Blume from the University of Western, later determined that
the photo Hoffman did release to Parker was not of a right temporal lobectomy as
he had been told. Therefore proving that Parker’s photos had been lost or
secretly kept out of his hands. Parker believes Hoffman had no intention of ever
curing the kids and instead was lobbying his lobotomy findings to US bigwigs
that were shelling out cash for the fresh healthy brain tissue that they could
begin experimenting with. “We were puppets,” adds Parker. “Everything got worse.
I was having seizures more regularly. I had to leave school and I couldn’t
work.”

DOPE GIVES HOPE

And Parker was put on all types of lotions and potions to keep him
under ‘control’. But like most prescription drugs, Parker showed signs of
further sickness and deadlier seizures. “The drugs made things harder. It was
only when I discovered that marijuana could help control the seizures that I got
off Hoffman’s drugs and started to feel better in all aspects of life.” And the
marijuana miracle has furthered Parker’s career as a politician whereby he has
run two-times federally for the Marijuana party in High Park! In fact, according
to his mother, Terry has never looked so good since he started smoking pot.
“They were telling us one thing,” confides Parker to the Special. “And going and
doing something completely different. Can you imagine that they lied to parents
and sick kids?” And it’s not as uncommon as you may think, resounds a medical
technician from a local Hospital in midtown Toronto. “I see it all the time,
worried parents will sign anything thinking it will make their kid better and
these doctors no matter how sane you think they are, will always be working for
the greenback. It seems that’s exactly what happened in this case.”

UNANIMOUS DECISION

Parker is currently preparing a class action lawsuit against The Hospital
for Sick Children in the hopes of exposing what happened to him and preventing
the muddy issue of consent from robbing anyone else of their choice when it
comes to surgery. For Parker, though, his quest for justice has been a long
uphill battle that is not easily won. A typical code of silence is common in
these types of cases, but with the recent unearthing of the Duplessis orphans in
Quebec and a children’s hospital in Vienna, which were performing the same kinds
of procedures, Parker is confident that the truth will be exposed and that
Hoffman and his associates will be found accountable by the Ontario Medical
Association. “I just never want to see any other children and their families go
through what happened to me and my family.”
