Susan,
Thats aa pile of seizures to have in one night & you have my
sympathy.
Guess the medicine I'm on doesn't really anmount to much as I take
lamictal (50mg) twicw a day & Dilantin.
The new Doc I'm seeing ( Finally an Epileptologist) says I need
150mg Lamicatal twice a day & is taking me off Dilantin.
As for the VNS I have heard good & bad about that.
& a Brain operation is a massive undertaking as I had a
crainiotomy in 1996 ( Had a piece of Brain protruding into Sinuses
whuch in turn was feeding Meningitis) sooo Neurosurgeon cuts off
piece of right Frontal Lobe that was in Sinus & so I have about an 8"
scar running across my forehead.
& am still noticing changes in the dent in my head.
Weird stuff.
Also, knocked me a bit goofy for about 3 years.
Hey, if U want to see a pic. of a Brain operation scar just E mail
me at my address & I'll send a pic.
Also, have read pros & cons on spliting the Brain.
Wish I could help more but hey I'm having the same damn things
