Braces: pulling a tooth out?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #16784 of 17429 |
I think my braces are slowly pulling one of my teeth up and out of the
gums. Is that possible? I have one lower front tooth that is getting
more and more sensitive each day. It used to be lined up well to the
neighboring teeth but now it sticks up higher, and it's tipped a bit
when it used to be straight. I looked at my before pictures and it's
getting worse and worse. I think the sensitivity is due to the fact
that the root is being exposed, and I think it's tipped a bit because
of a crooked bracket. Do you think this is an urgent ortho issue and I
should call.... or just wait until my next appointment?

Thanks,
Kathy
