Having problems with message search?
It's been 8 weeks today since my braces came off. I've been wearing the retainer 24/7 (with the exception of 4 days last month when I was at a conference and had to do a lot of talking and didn't want to have "mush mouth" so I only wore it at night).
The orthodontist was pleased with my teeth and said that now I only have to wear it from after dinner in the evening til the next morning. Yippee!
They also did the post-banding photos and x-ray for their files -- the "after" photos to go with the "before" ones. What a difference!
I've had so many positive comments on my smile and that makes all those 29 months of treatment worth it. So if you're feeling kinda down and wondering why on earth you ever decided to get braces as an adult, take heart. There IS light at the end of the tunnel and you will be so pleased with your results.
