That doesn't mean I'm leaving the group, but when I went in for my
adjustment Tuesday morning, he looked, had me open, bite, open bite,
looked some more, open, bite, open, bite, looked some more, for about
10 minutes. Then he looked at me and said, "Well, how would you like
to get those things out?" I said "UM......ok," silently wondering
after 25 months if he was just joking around. Then I remembered that
Dr. F does NOT make jokes like that.

So, my scheduled debonding date is May 22, in 8 weeks, and I will
return to get my retainers on May 23. That will put total treatment
time for me at 27 months for my uppers, and 19 months for my lowers.

For comfort level, I would definitely do ceramics on top again, but
let me tell you, they are an absolute pain for my ortho techs to work
on, and they tend to mangle power chains. I did horribly on posting
my website and updates, but I promise I'll post a picture of progress
next to my first day in braces.
