Hi Julie and Stacy,

Welcome to this group. The time will fly by like nothing and there
will be days when you ask yourself why on earth you did this to
yourself. Then there will be days when you look in the mirror and see
a difference (or realize you're chewing with teeth that you never used
before - as it was in my case), and you'll realize that the time, pain
and frustration are worth it.

One thing that I never imagined would happen as a result of my getting
braces is that kids are completely curious about them and ask lots of
questions (which I love to answer), and I have found many adults
asking about my experience, or asking me to talk to their kids about
my experience in braces. In fact, two of my adult friends have gotten
consultation appointments since I got my braces two years ago.

Enjoy this time and embrace the tin grin!
