Re: rota-dent toothbrush

I went to the ortho today for an adjustment and was pretty much told
the same thing. Not about the toothbrush that you mentioned, but
that I have a buildup of calculus on one my molars. He suggested
that I see my dentist every 3 months instead of 6 months, which I
have been doing since I have been in braces. My dentist told me
prior to what I was told today that I am more prone to that buildup
because I don't have a bottom second year molar to hit on that top
second year molar. He said that the natural chewing action is what
keeps that buildup down. I was told that I should spend more time
with my toothbrushes to keep down the calculus.
