Domestic Violence

Silent are the voices of many who suffer a violence of ruthlessness,
violence that sometimes comes in the form of mental cruelty or sexual
persecution.

American Indian women or any female for that matter, are not punching bags,
nor are they toys or tools, they are human beings in which so many add
creation to the Indian World.

American Indian women, young female adults and teens, youth, children and
even infants, so many enjoy a wonderful life in this day and age, yet there
is a disturbing number that face physical and mental torment.

Historically it is understood that alcohol and drugs has played major roles
in the Domestic Violence that occurs in various areas of Indian Country, a
violence that can sometimes lead to serious incarceration in a penal
facility but can also lead to incidents of unnecessary deaths.

Methamphetamine(Meth.) is a treacherous drug, a disease and a dependency of
the worse kind. In the hands of male or female, Meth destroys the human
quality within, releasing brutal instincts, creating illusions that distort
intelligence and any constructive or positive decisions.

Many Indian voices proclaim that the non-Indians drugs and alcohols do not
belong in the Indian World, or that alcohol and drugs impairs the Spirit
Within, or that alcohol and drugs impact the Spirituality. For the most
part, these Indian Voices are correct and are doing their very best to
provide a constructive avenue towards Healing, towards Rejuvenating the
Spirit.

Each person looks for the "Good" in everyone, express how a person should
Heal their self, how they should follow this path or that path, or explain
how one theory is the "Only and Right Way" , basically, most "Helpful
People" try an approach that indicates they want to help and yes, provide
positive suggestions, however, too many suggestions going in too many
directions can cause confusion and distortment.

Domestic Violence is linked to alcohol and drugs, today Domestic Violence
is seriously connected to Methamphetamine and there is good evidence that
does indicate that Meth is a serious and even critical problem but society
should not focus or studies or surveys to present to the general public,
because Domestic Violence is not just alcohol, drug or meth related.

The problems that are often over-looked or set aside at times, may make for
poor excuses in some cases of Domestic Violence, For example, anger between
two individuals can set off violent reactions that can lead to a person,
often a female or a child that becomes severely beaten, maybe even
murdered.

Okay, a couple of other examples would be stress, frustration or
depression, which can promote behavior of violence that leads to high
emotional agitation that can generate battery, assault, brutality on
females, youth, teens, children or infants.

Some more examples that are often not high-lighted towards causes of
Domestic Violence have to do with people who become exposed to hidden
allergy properties that are linked to pesticides, toxins, deadly chemicals
or toxic waste and so many Americans today have been exposed to chemicals
of the worst kind without even knowing it until it is too late.

How do hidden allergic properties cause Domestic Violence? If a person has
no genuine idea of what they are allergic to and come in contact with a
property that they are allergic to, they can become disorientated, hostile
and violent. Often if not caught right off due to just a simple exposure,
will go undetected and maybe not recognized, which if it becomes severe can
cause death.

Yes, Society is leading a major campaign against Domestic Violence and
consider that alcohol, drugs and even cigarette smoking is part of the
problem, but Meth is more accountable these days, but society needs to get
off the one track and look at more situations.

Still not convinced? Letšs say for example that a growing teenager enjoys
watching movies that have to do with Gang Activity or enjoys listening to
hard-core hip-hop or rap music, even diabolic music. You find the teen
wearing offensive clothes or beginning to do body piercing. What do some
parents do? Protest and in some cases become hostile with a defiant teen
and this situation some times leads to loud and violent battles between the
sibling and the other parent, this form of Domestic Violence is common.

Parents try to contain a matter of discipline in the home, especially with
growing children who reach the age of puberty, because with all the high
technology the temptation to search and experience is a common factor with
a lot of teens and the discussions in the home can be severe at times.

Young girls for example can discover how important it is to look good and
find that dressing in a certain way helps gain respect or admiration,
mostly such attire shows off too much body or is too suggestive. Some
parents allow their children to dress anyway they desire, figuring it the
fashion of the times, until a problem arises that leads to disagreements
and hostile arguments that can lead to Domestic Violence.

So you see from the previous examples there are more situations that can
lead to Domestic Violence, but there is still several areas that should be
viewed. For example, mental degrading of a person. Making a mockery of
another persons activity or body can lead to hostile activity. Embarrassing
someone because of the way they look, how they talk, how they walk or how
they even make love, these situations can lead to a very bad relationship
and if not addressed properly can lead to critical Domestic Violence.

Children, young teens or even infants become victims through neglect,
improper discipline such as punching, kicking or even name calling but even
worse is the sexual abuse some youth, teens or young girls go through and
this type of activity is very criminal in nature, especially the sexual
abuse and that has many forms, such as making a mockery of a young girls
body parts or telling a child young female or male that their sexuality is
bias.

Most infant, child, youth or young female sex abuse cases starts at home or
with a family member and in some situations are not reported and it is
these cases that develop in time to severe Domestic Violence.

Yes, society wants you to believe that Meth leads to a critical Domestic
Violence problem and that is not false, it is very true, but the point here
is, do not focus full attention on just alcohol, drugs or Meth.

Domestic Violence is what it is, a very brutal crime, normally against
Women, a delicate human being, on the other hand Domestic Violence is a
critical crime when it is against a very fragile human being, an infant or
child, then therešs the abuse, molestation, rape of young teens.

Please, understand what Domestic Violence is, it is a crime, a very serious
crime and any form of Domestic Violence needs to be reported and not just
because it is alcohol, drug or Meth related, but "All Domestic Violence"
needs to be reported no matter who is guilty of the crime or what the
situation is.

In various portions of this society, Americans tend to blame people of
color for the alcohol, drug and Meth problem and develop campaigns that
generate propganda that sometimes is racist in nature, so it is up to each
and everyone of us to make sure of the facts in our communities, as well as
throughout Indian Country and America.

Remember, women, young teens, children and infants are fragile, delicate
and often full of beauty and love and do not deserve to be victims of
unnecessary brutality or death.

Please, under no circumstance, do not let Domestic Violence take over your
community, because Indian Country is a beautiful world and has many
beautiful Human Beings who should be loved and cared for...not
beaten...tortured....or murdered.
