respected town doctor, so...and I can't get around that at alkl. My mother,
president of the school board, popular small town socialite was the enabler
and cover, so of course you're right.

Hope your knee heals quickly. I agree that poverty is a contributing
factor but I do not believe that it can be fully blamed for abuse of any
kind. As I said I have seen, read and heard of too many cases involving
well to do and/or rich families. Poverty is a contributing factor on
the side of the victim, but not necessarily so on the side of the
perpetrator.
