Great news! We are thrilled to report that the Senate unanimously passed
the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) last night. Thank you for doing
your part to help achieve this important victory!

More work still needs to be done. As you know, the House of
Representatives passed their version of the VAWA bill just last week.
The next step is for Senate and House members to meet to resolve the
differences between these two versions and hold a final vote.

So, in the coming weeks, we will be asking you to contact your Member of
Congress one more time to make sure VAWA is finally signed into law.

For now, it is time to celebrate. Remember, victories like these happen
because concerned individuals like you decide to take action. Your
efforts are making a difference!

Please call your Senators and thank them for allowing a unanimous vote
in favor of VAWA. Let them know how important this legislation is to
