Hi Katie,  My name is Dot Gronn I am the co-ordinator of the CAH Support Group in Australia.   If you have just been disgnosed with CAH, this tells me that you have late onset CAH. Their is two types of  Cah Classic which is salt losing CAH and non Classic (which I assume you have) which is non Salt losing.  If you have the non Classic CAH your life has, up until this stage been OK.  Your Endocrinologist should be able to cover all this with you.    By taken cortisone medication everything should get back to "normal"
