Hi again,
Well after reading my last post I see that I was a bit ahead of
myself on dates; as Jacob is just now reaching his 8th month...
(Hey it was 3 am when I wrote it..LOL )
Anyway, Well we did it !!!! Last week Jacob got his first "Fever",
the one we have been walking around on egg-shells waiting for..
And we got throught it.... I think I was expecting chaos and
confusion. Jacob came down with an ear infection , and after taking
him to the pediatrition for anti-biotics, stopping off to grab some
Tylenol, and double checking that I had plenty of cortef, we spent a
lazy day snoozing on the couch..lol (so much for chaos)
Im still getting use to all of this, but I do think that it is
getting a bit easier.. Soon we will go for our consultation
appointment with the Urologist that will be handeling Jacob's surgery.
They expect to start preparing him for it, (testerone shots) around
age 1.. Don't get me started on that though, thats where the
confusion and chaos, and stress all come in to play..
This was just a quick note to spread the good news about making it
through an ear infection..lol I also want to say ~Thank You~ Debbie
for your last post in reply to mine...That was very kind of you to
write, and I hope all is well with your little girl :-)..
This board has really helped me to have a place to empty my pale of
worries, and to show me that the future isn't as crazy as I think
it's going to be.
