Thank you everyone for their thoughts!! The genetic testing showed it is a
boy and no CAH. I will admit that I was hoping for a girl because I have a
boy that is 7 years old and a boy that is going to be 3 years old in July,
but I am just glad the baby is going to be healthy. I am due 8 August. Very
close to Adam's birthday... on 29 July. Stephen will be 8 years old on 22
Dec. I had a CVS test which is like an amnio but it done at 10 weeks. The
waiting was the hardest part. It almost took a month to find out because the
cultures had to be mailed to Dr. Maria New office in New York (Cornell
University). But they did at least tell me after 48 hours of the cultures
that there were no chromosomal problems (like Downs, etc).
