This group (formerly known as attachasd)is for adoptive parents who are trying to help their kids reach their highest potential. We are all about Hope, Healing & Happiness!

We discuss a variety of treatments that can help our adopted children with behavioral, medical and attachment problems. The kids on our list have been diagnosed with things like RAD, PTSD, FASD, ARND, Sensory Integration Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, pyroluria, adoption issues, bio-medical problems, food allergies/intolerances, Gastrointestinal disorders, immune system deficiencies, or any combination of the above & many more.

The focus of this list is biomedical. Treatments that are commonly recommended by DAN! (Defeat Autism Now!) and other biomedical doctors are often discussed. Our focus is bio-medical NOT because we feel that bio-med treatments are the only or the "best" treatments for adopted children. We focus on biomed because there are many other lists out there for adoptive parents that focus on attachment problems and other challenges that our kids face. However, other therapies and treatments are welcome as topics. We want to hear about any promising modalities!
