Friends;
My dad's brother came over with my cousin that was in the marines. They said my
other cousin,the marine's sister is or was an avid coin fanatic. She is still
in High School, but when she has time, she'll look over the coins. He advised
us well my uncle and cousin both said, since the house is lonely we should take
the coins home. Too risky to leave out and by chance someone break in.
Anyway before we did that, dad told them about 2 bills I didn't know about till
now. They were $500 Confederate Dollars!!! Before that they didn't know it was
confederate so they ran to the bank with it thinking it was a savings bond.
Well the bank didn't know what it was, but after reading it to the affect of
Confederate States of America, and to the bearer of this note, $500. If you
know something like this please please tell me. I gotta see this bill so I can
trace it on EBay or a website. I don't want a war again in the house about me
looking at it so I be nosey. I am going by hearsay. I presume its a dollar or
a bond. The bank has no use for it of course since its the Confederate money,
and the confederates are long gone. I'll probably see it if they let my cousin
see it. I hope so maybe her and I can do more googling or ebaying on it. I
thought I should let you know.
OH another thing, my uncle noticed tons of LP's or 78's. He told dad to eBay
them, dad said he don't want to...my uncle don't know how either. I kinda do,
but how do I prove they work if no-one has these Lp players? HA! Man we can be
filthy rich and don't even know it. Well, I don't know what we're doing for
supper, but I do see plates out so I better run along. I thought I would
broadcast again... :) Take care.
Your friend always;
Chris
