Good morning. I had a workcover claim accepted with a DSM IV
diagnosis of adjustment disorder with mixed anxiety/depression in
December 2003. I left that position and took up another in a
different place. I really had had no time to heal from the initial
injury. I finally succummbed to the illness in August 2004 and
applied for workcover. This was overturned due to a psychiatrist
who didn't give a rats butt about me or what was happening. All the
evidence from psychologists and my gp and individuals points to this
event being an exacerbation of my original injury. I now am
fighting this outcome. My employer is fighting it too - against
me. Is there anything else I can do?????????????
