I was diagnosed with Shingles in 1999 by my GP. In 2003 after many
problems with my eyes, coordination (falling for no reason) and
numbness in my right leg, I was diagnosed with Holmes Adie
Syndrome. Are we on to something here?

the Adies eye. So it is possible that it is connected to your
daughter's shingles.

he did to diagnose Adies and rule out anything else was to put a
drop of 0.5% strength pilocarpine into the eye and if the pupil
contracts then it is diagnosed.

if a GP can prescribe this without you having to wait to see the
