I haven't read anything about aspartame myself, but now that you mention it, I had been on a diet for about 6 months prior to my operation and was using sweeteners and diet drinks quite a bit. Who knows??
My vision is constantly blurred from my adie's eye - worse for near vision but always there nevertheless...
