Hi Im 32 year old male (which I understand is the minority) just
diagnosed with Adie's pupil. As many of you suggested the doctors do
not seem to be too worried about it, and say I will lead a normal
life.
My diagnosis was thorough, but did scare the sh*% out of me. I went
to my GP and in minutes he had me in to see the specialist who
immediately thought it was Adie's. He then conducted a series of
tests with pilocarpine drops which he said 99.9% confirmed his
suspissions. Just to make sure he scheduled an MRI for the next
day. After the tests, he called and was now confident his diagnosis
was correct.
Being very thorough was comforting but, as others have suggested, the
treatment is nil!
He said it could fix itself in a month...6months..a year or
possibably never, but there was nothing to worry about. He gave me a
bottle of diluted pilocarpine drops and said I could use these if it
made me feel more comfortable. (it didn't)
I left the DR. feeling like this was just a temporary ailment, but
after reading more and looking at this site, I am getting a little
worried again.

Has anyone ever been cured od Adie's???!!!!!!!
