I have the dry cough and I've never used drops.

Hi everyone, I have just also joined the 'aides eyes' group on Yahoo.
I have recently been diagnosed with Aides Tonic pupil syndrome(8th
September) following a positive test with pylocarpine drops.
Interestingly the eye specialist just said it was just Aides, nothing
to worry about and that I should 'google it' for more info. Very
casual I thought!! Anyhow Im 32 years old, female, have green eyes and
my left eye is the affected one. I have absent ankle reflexes and
reduced left knee reflexes. Ive always been quite sensitive to light
and have always needed to wear sunglasses even on cloudy days and
always when driving. I am otherwise health but have always had low
blood pressure and quite often have dizzy spells. My partner noticed
for the first time that my left pupil was larger than my right only a
week ago.
I guess my next step is to buy a decent pair of sunglasses? Im not to
keen on using the pylocarpine eyedrops as they seem to give me a dry
cough - does anyone else experience this? By the way Im from New
Zealand, are there any other kiwis out there with this interesting
condition?
