Hi Carol
I was diagnosed with an Adie's pupil about two and a half years ago.
It happened after a severe migraine which may have been brought on by
dental work and/or heat exhaustion from very hot weather. The
neurologists I saw said I had had a 'brain event' - whatever that
means - I suspect it's another way of saying "we don't know".
My left pupil was fixed open, I had extreme light sensitivity, a lot
of pain around the eye and headaches. I also had other neurological
symptoms which I won't go into here.
The good news is that in the last 2.5 years my eye *did* slowly
improve. The pupil slowly shrunk down to an average size and started
very slowly reacting to light again. The light sensitivity, pain etc
did reduce correspondingly. I still had some pain, tiredness and poor
focus/blurred vision but not as extreme as in the beginning.
I might have been lucky but I suppose this means there is hope for
others. I think improving my health generally and especially learning
ways to cope with stress more effectively may have helped.
Finally, I have recently been seeing a 'Neurolink' practitioner who
has given me results that are nothing short of miraculous:

All the remaining pain, tiredness, blurriness, inability to focus went
after one treatment. The pupil is still a little slow but that's all
that's left of the symptoms. I keep telling people "I can see I can
see!" I understand if people are wary of trying things and I emphasise
that I have no commercial interest in Neurolink but I just wanted to
tell people it worked for me and may be worth a try if you can find a
practitioner.
All the best
Jay
