I'm obviously not a doctor either, but what you have sounds more like
glaucoma than it does adies. Although it usually effects both eyes
eventually, one eye usually deteriorates at a faster rate than the
other. My cousin had this problem, never had it checked at the stage
you are at and now has a very bad case of it. I'm not saying that's
what it is or making a diagnosis, but it's not adies either.
