Well that about puts the top hat on it. First doggy lovers want to
join (although what ickle fido has to do with MY illness I don't
know) Now we get loan sharks posting on the board, as if I need to
get into debt with those drunkards. My life is good and I am on 20mg
of hydrocortisone a day. I GOT THE DOSE REDUCED from 30mgs to 25mgs
to 20mgs all by working with my doctor. The problem with the health
service over here (England) is that they tend to over prescribe and
then that desttroys the body's limited natural cortisone production.
I do not tell anyone how to treat thier own illness as I am not an
expert and my addisons is not guarenteed to be the same as anyone
elses. Indeed I know of some fellow addisonians who take a smaller
dose than me. As for prednisolone, that gives me roid rage and a
jowly face But when I was last in hospital there was a guy who took
prednisolone and it saved his life and he still takes it to a
