How did you go with
> out yours for so long?

I was undiagnosed and had no choice. Horrific as it was, it was a fantastically
valuable
experience for me.... and put a lot of things in perspective. Even at the worst
-which was
really really bad- my sense of humor blossomed and I relaxed and opened, almost
as if
there were nothing left to worry about, almost as if I were so close to death
that I could
just let go of everything and be fully present with whatever was happening. I'd
call it
radical acceptance.

You know Chris, if you want more interaction -which you might not- Healinglight
and
HopeOasis are there... the more participants the richer and more valuable the
learnings for
all.

Jim

I'm just going to be puzzled here. Since the pred family of steroids has about
an 18-36
hour half-life, I'm not clear why you need to chop so much. I guess if you do
what you do
it prevents the steroid levels from shooting up all at once at the front end.
But the
downside is that the steroid activity would remain unabated all night long. I
think this is
where the steroid damage happens. In a normal person, steroids are active in the
day and
are nil at night-time which is for rebuilding the day's catabolic tear-down
process. I guess
this is an argument for HC. This is not a criticism or a search for an
answer....maybe I'm
just mumbling to myself.....
