A year after I had surgery (4 impacted wisdom teeth), I ended up in
the psycho ward and the shrink tried 10 different meds and nothing
worked. He sent me out for ECT. It did not matter my cortisol level
was a 5. After 7 treatments my cortisol was unmeasurable ( <
1.1 ). They gave me the last treatment the next day.
