Do I always have to be on max dose (30mg)   Message List

As this is a resource for the health service proffessional I think
it is a moot point to raise here, why do those people who treat me in
the health service treat mde like a sub-human? Someone with the
intelligence of a slug? I have a feeling that this dose of thirty mg
is too much, nay I know that it is too much. And why when I ask for
injection ampules (to have on my person in case of emergency) do they
tell me that they are unecessary because the doctor or paramedic
should have an emergency supply. Yet other addisonians have them,
furthermore when I request a day curve test am I told that as I am on
30mg a day curve analysis would be pointless.
I have already reduced my
hydrocortisone by 5mg (half a 10mg tab) to no ill effect.

So could any of you Medical types tell me why I have been refused a
day curve analysis test when I requested one?

Is the N.H.S. a better judge of my health than I am?
Please tell me
