In the last couple of months prior to my diagnosis, I began blacking out.
That terrified my husband and myself and I decided to find a new doctor.
When he read my blood pressure he said he was amazed that I was actually up
walking and talking. It was something like 60/80. He was pretty sure that I
had addison's then but went ahead and did the test. It was the most painful
test I'd ever taken. When it came back positive I was put on cortisone acet.
He said that there is an additional medication that goes along with that
medication to help with iron levels but my iron was at a good level and I
wouldn't have to take them. Isn't that funny, all of these years (I'm 35
now)I thought I was anemic and then I find out that I'm not.
I guess the best thing for all of us is to make sure we get a doctor we can
trust and who will be thorough.
Blessings,
April

the doctor was talking about that regulates the iron levels. i'm currently
going thropugh tons of tests because of low everything. I do take iron supp.
