HI Mova,
Thank you. I'm glad they got you back then. It happened to me too. Doctors
didn't know what I had and when they finally figured it out I was almost dead.
I was kind of like a ginnie pig for doctors that have never seen it and for
studing. You too have a noble profession. Thank you. Yes I am taking care of
myself and drinking gatoraid and other things. I was just able to eat something
tonight and it feels like a lead weight in my stomach. I hope it stays down and
I hope I can make it at work. Take care.

>Hello Alan I know what you mean you are getting dehydrated be sure
and watch your salt!!!My friends tease me about buying me a salt
lick:) balance that potassium too..I am a nurse and my husband is an
undertaker so I have seen a bit...you won't in any way gross me out I
think it is quite interesting that you are a detective...you should
be very proud of your work and the contribution you make every
day...and a lot of those days you don't feel like getting out of bed,
I became ill in 82 weighed 98 pounds, orange as a carrot, fever of
107, passed out on the bathroom floor and my 3 year old found me and
woke up his dad to take me to the hospital they thought I had toxic
shock syndrome and I wasn't treated for about 18 hours, on a cooling
blanket, they called in my family It was a trip...but someone noticed
my ACTH was zero and there you go :) so I am on Cortisone and
lopressor and lots of other things I have Graves too and I take
Tapazole and nurses don't always mind their doctors and anymore they
say what should we do and I sort of tell them what my body is telling
me, we have to self regulate...or I wouldn't have made it this
far...we both have had stress in our past and stressful jobs andwe
are both too stubborn to believe what they tell us :) hang in there
and keep in touch, now go have some electrolyes:) Your friend in
Virginia

smile but sometimes it is hard to feel good. It's not been a very
good day today for me. I have bad diaheria and sick feeling. I
don't know if it's something I ate or what. I'm pouring in the
liquids, taking my medicines and watching myself and hopefully it
will stop and I don't start vomiting because I have a sick stomach
too. I hope that did not gross you out. I feel kind of drained and
it is a bummer you have to watch everything you do and happens to
you. Thanks for the answer and I will keep in touch.
