Re: [Addison's Disease] looking for support (Heather)

April,
Thank you so much for writing, it was so good to hear
from someone.
Don't get me wrong, when i was diagnosed and got my
meds i'd never been so healthy and felt so good in my
life, but as time goes on and the body levels off
somewhat I, just became sytomatic more often than not-
sort of a catch 22- totally happy to have treatment
that makes me better- totally bummed that i've got all
these sides effects and symtoms to deal with.
I know how it feels to have no energy- i have to push
myself alot- like today i have a urinary tract
infection and being on the antibiotics make me so sick
and tired but i know it's temporary and i'll feel good
again soon, just have to cope.
i guess i'm learning that i can't do what i used to,
and i do have limitations...which before i was having
a hard time coming to terms with- i'm a completely
active person, but sometimes it's so hard just to get
out of bed.
It's great to know that more people feel the way i do,
and know that there is a cause and i'm not crazy- but
frustrating at the same time- ya know!
I hope i haven't rambled on for too long.
Thank you so much for writing, it really does help to
hear from people going through the same thing.
I hope you have a great day and are feeling well- and
I'd love to write anytime!
take care,
heather
