Hey, y'all. My name is Elisanne and I've had Addisons for almost 11
years now. It's been a bit of a rocky road at times...certainly not
easy, but now, it's evened out a bit. It took me a long time to
understand what upsets my body into a crisis and to learn how to deal
with it. I've found that scheduling life helps...such as a regular
bed time and meal times helps. Eating healthier helps as well, so
does copious amounts of water. Gentle exercise helps as does
mindset...how you approach this thing. When I was first diagnosed I
was told that I could live a normal life with very few distractions.
It's helped.
