my name is heather- I've had addison's for 3 years now
and just growing increasingly frustrated, seems it's
always soemthing, neverending saga and i just
sometimes feel i'm at the end of my rope.
the side effects both mental and physical are
exhausting. just when i'm feeling better from one
symptom something else always happens...when i have to
up my meds to make me feel better i get another
infection as a result of that, and then the side
effects of my cortef take over and not only do i feel
i'm gonna pop out of my body but feel i'm losing my
mind...constant emotional roller coaster. i'm just so
sick of being sick, so sick of having docters who
really don't care, and just looking for other people
who share in my condition.
i just feel so alone sometimes with it all-don't get
me wrong, i'm extremely greatful- when i feel good, i
feel so much better than i've ever felt, but when it's
bad it's so bad and seems to be bad way too much.
i don't really know who i'm writing to but would love
to hear from anyone.
