Saw you at your office this week and said I would send a copy of book.
My edu backround is in Commstu and tech writing but I am learning to have a PT
job in the Med field, working with the homeless current.
 
I am available forproblem diagnosis...elderly and child abuse psychosematica a
specialty.(Law enforcement backround also.)
unlicensed but am currently a Consultant/artist.
Have a plant that I make oil from that can help the Staph and other cancers =
cleaner plant worth developing.

like plants, animals were thought to have healing mannerisms. The
Native American astrology sort of coincides with the Chinese and
other astrology., The wolf area in the sky is similar in location to
the dog/chicken area. The Snake in in the Boar area, and the horned
animals, the Moose and the Ox , roughly coincide.

branches of a tree were sometimes cut for a patient to stand up
against, depending what area was to be treated. For backache and
sciatica a branch at hip height was used, the patient would grip the
branch with weight resting on the lower palms and the hips against
the hands. Weight was taken off of the back for a stretching action,
in some cases the legs were lightly pulled on or stabilized to help
stretch the back area.
There were clamp like tools that were usually like clothespins, and
they were placed on points along with paint sometimes.


Hawks wing brushes you..... lightly brush upper arm to wrist with
feather. Seagull/crow feather often used. Triple burner and heart
meridian. shakras, UB stomach

Rocks were used under the back for sciatica, usually palm size flattish
rocks at key point during painful episodes. Sticks were places along
the leg at the acu points below and above the knee along the line on
the back of the leg. the stick is held in place by the patient by
bending their leg slightly.

Digging an antler hole..........orientation,mental stability,
pregnancy. intergravitational study,patient uses stick or antler to
dig small hole. The horn points were important, where horns might be
at their circumference usually if humans had them. (might be good for
Mad Cow) Antlers were used as a planting tool.

haihatisai ......term for urgent care?

Digging bear.................patient lies down or sits one leg wrapped
around the other until the feet are one on top of the other. Slight
back and form and flax leg action.

Climbing deer..........stand on one foot and grab top of free foot
from behind with same side arm, palm on top of foot. liver gall
bladder.. energy flow to Conc and Gov 1 areas.

Golden Arrow..............Stick or arrow if safe, to lightly balance
on top of head at Du 20. shock cultural confusion syndrome, general
tonification point like Du 20

Starving Fox looks for the bird.............Patient looks upward and
makes eyeballs move back and forth San Jiao, env of the heart, eyes
nose areas, breathing.

pounding the drum .....similar to conventional treatment when the
doctor 'thumps on your back with two fingers placed on the patients
body and then tapped on top of with the knuckles or fist. This
technique may have originated with Native Americans. Sometimes a tool(
small stick or stone) is used to lightly tap on the body at points
that correspond with acu points. Tools of this type were often painted
or adorned in a medical way with feathers or beads. stimulation and
general tonification.

Archer.... patient has his or her hands placed on their own body at
the point behind the shoulder at the soft spot above the shoulder
blade near the end of the arm. Either same arm or across the body as
if reaching for an arrow in a quiver. massage the area.. good for
arthritis and UB ...abuse

Exercise...one fist on top of the other lightly tap hands up and down
and slightly twist the wrists. arms slightly bending..
sinus..lung..UB...conc/gov
PMS...similar to warm up exercise for women (usually) pre grain
grinding day.

Crow pecks a hole - corresponds with St 8 lightly tapping at that
point with a stick some believed in the medicine value of a crows beak
and sometime a powder was made of it for poultice and addition yo
teas. Blood helper. sometimes called the fire crow embers of burning
stick similar to incense was held away from the patient at St 8 1 or 2 "

Corn silk in the ear ....ha ha kusc(s)(h)(i) tonify effect dry silk
for wetness problems...fresh for dryness problems lightly rest in
lower portion of ear 1/4 to 1 hour.

Howaciwa - porcupine quills five fingertips each side of head cerebral
cortex area and top of head.good for GB and PMS depression, menstrual
irregularity.. GB and bladder
Medulla area is same technique but called Badunmthn =3D bear scratches.

Bear Counting - technique for general tonification where fingertips
including thumbs touch at tops of fingers and interlock and move
downwards at each joint of the fingers to the bottom at hand webbed
areas. This technique was sometimes done or taught to adolescent
children when they became pregnant or as a morning after technique -
Caution not for pregnant persons may cause miscarriage.

Crabfight - thumb and forefinger pinch each other at Hoku area webbed
area of thumb. NOT FOR Pregnant. Tonify and good for lung and other
ailments like back pain. ED add here.

(ng) harwarshh(i)  Define?=3D stress psychosomatic nightmares - oils
and other herbal mixtures under tongue =3D leads to heart, env of heart
conc 1 Du mai 2 bean or nut under tongue patient left alone with
treatment and left to resolve whether to spit out bean or swallow it.
adolescence, pregnant, usually treated with this technique at night
or in darkness/ sometimes blindfolded. war fatigue.

technique for feet where a wishbone type stick with longer branches
was tied around foot at the same areas where a flipflop strap is
located, under the ankle the the top of the foot. Kidney 7 area and UB
GB Liver.

wounded cat - patient is encouraged to walk like a wounded Puma -
orientation
adolescent counseling...elderly
diagnosis...harmonizer...stimulator...balance...hearing...breathing

Snake tries to swallow you...Hai wat (ungunt) ti she' Thumbs along
jawline at ear , pinkies above eyebrows...downward pressure motion
slight/intermittant UB Conception Gov
delayed reaction to this treatment is snake leaves - patient becomes
a tree/figuratively

maowah (s) (i) walking.. tree brushes your head
four fingers scratch linear from Du 20 to top of ear
eyesight...Dumai ...Conception vessel...face/sinus...Triple burner...GB

habea -wag tail Du Mai 2 and 3 area massage side to side circular
fashion on either side of spine.
Kidney Liver tonify, Psychosematica, child abuse

growing with the corn Du Mai 6/UB 19 area start massage upward to slow
light or sturdy - brisk for emergency. Induce childbirth, Post
childbirth, dysmenorrhea, GB

Smiling Fox - massage of area on the ankle in a U shape at the
protruding ankle bone below and up each side of the ankle on the
outside of the leg at the area of the Kidney points.
sometimes moxa was applied at the same area with a stone warmed by the
fire, or a stick held away from the points like incense.



Starving Bear looks for the Fox difficult to explain this one but it it a
completely mental or energy flow exercise. The fox would help the bear in time
of need for an undisclosed amount later. Relaxation exercise roughly imitating
the triple burner link flows.


Cupping was also in use in N.A. medicine. Cupping to bring energy for
treatment to a particular spot usually corresponding with acu points.
Seashells were the primary tool here either fresh or salt water
clamshells usually. Nutshells also used and sometimes handcarved
wooden cuplike tools.

a tool used as an accu type tool was the pointy tip of an acorn

(a)(e)hao(e) "feeding the beaver" twisting pounding action for
treatment sometimes self applied. fingertips used as a massage for
opposite hand and massage at the center of palm. Sometimes medicine
men would have drums and or other musical instruments around and
patients were either massaged or self applied technique in time to a
drumbeat or song.

Broken Branch UB 58 area
Growing tree UB 60 area
patient crosses legs and rests on knee at points
liver...sciatica...head injury...paralysis

Ma Wwwa - Seeing through the clouds - same sort of energy jump
similar to SI 11 to SI 18 area was noted in Native American medicine also.

San Jiao 6 -7 ... Deep in the tree psychosematica, depression

Running in the Mud ( ha schuaaa(t) a) energy flow change at UB 35 -36
space between UB 34 - 35 important for diagnosis =3D golden area seems
to break down first in elderly to infirmed stages and is usually
massaged. Sometimes with a wrap around technique or cupping at that area.

Stupid Fox San Jiao 17 -21 area often painted using therapeutic oils in
the mix , good for mental health diagnosis, tonify



(e) hawaiaceh(h)(m) Building a cocoon - arms crossed and index
fingers on LI 15 area points. Medicine man would sometimes apply this
technique in a 'hug' style. from behind usually w/ patient sitting or
standing, sometimes in a surprise' style to shock the patient into a
reprieve of symptoms. good for arthritis, pericardium,
conception/Governor

Birds nest =3D Neikuan mid to lower forearm administer oils point and
paint or wrap area orientation /diagnosis start area. good grab area
for childbirth. heart , pericardium, triple burner, Large Intestine

Bear on a Log (AKA Unuit) Seal on a Rock - Person is slung over a
specially cut log or stump roughly at the midsection along the
Conception or stomach meridian. Usually watched very carefully(one
minute duration) for elderly or infirmed as it may cause loss of
consciousness due to breathing problems or Blood pressure to
head(usually for sick or terminally ill) Smaller softball size rock
sometimes used and also turtle sometimes used for children. General
tonification and diagnosis. Not for Pregnant. Stomach and Liver,
Kidney can be good for constipation and Cramps, bloating obesity.

Young Bird - fingertips at Conc 2 - 3 area both hands and arms at
sides so forearms are at Liv 14 area on ribs, Flapping movement with
arms, Liver Kidney,Triple burner, heart, env of heart.

Growing the Horns - paralysis, head injury, dysmenorea... elderly
Alzheimer's....Massage from eyebrows to back of head along Dumai
channel short back and forth movement @ 1.5 cm each moving at a
snails pace along Dumai channel. This was a common style massage for
most meridians. Mental Illness - may cause change/ mental exertion
(heart change)and sometimes patient was a sleepover type for this and
was monitored for a while after this treatment.

Beaver Building - similar motion to Kat kanth(s) style scratch from
collar bone at end of arm to top of armpit roughly at shoulder joint.
Figurative delayed reaction to this technique is root grows(arm as root)

Ant Waiting - Thumb and forefinger(both hands at once usually) in light/pincer
type movement up and down and sideways at area of Jawline and eyesocket and also
at St8 area on head. Toothache and stimulation for eyesight work,


Eagles Beak...sometimes known as Pigs Nose(Hawaii) - forefinger and
middle finger on either side of nose and other fingers at side/below
...pulling out motion same as for Conc/Dumai joint area for epilepsy.
General tonification, shock, diagnosis helper.

Planting the Seed - heel massages area of other foot at Neiting. can be
self applied, paralysis, general tonify, vigorous for emergency.

Stringing the Bow - Tips of toe ends massage with fingertips back and
forth across tips of toes.

Unthungkijit - Medicine persons donkey outfit

Quail Fight - entire foot rubbed vigorously or lightly scratched with a stick. A
special glove was made for this with roughened leather that basically rubbed off
dead skin and helped form new skin growth. Pinecone sometimes used as a tool for
this(and then burned). Contagious persons were often tossed from villages and
had sores etc.. that were contagious as the plague and other disease was as
prevelant then as it is growing today. This was a preliminary yechnique for
treating these people.
Masks and fire proximity as well as waiting for strong winds when treating these
patients was a technique.
Medicine men would run into occasional problems with winds and odors when
housing or allowing these people to camp out on medicine areas. Sometimes blame
for further contagion was offered. Medicine person would sometimes follow up
with waters and oils as cleanup for possible contamination.

 Cucusc(h)(s)(i) Ducks feet excercise where one hand slaps the other on the back
of the hand alternating. Also foot excercise where one foot slaps the other in
the same mannner. Duck walking excercise has the patient sitting and the legs
bent. Feet slap the floor in the toes area  alternating. Stimulates NeiTing
areas.


Seagulls Eggs cooresponds with the area of Hoku (LI4) but includes the webbed
areas of all fingers above and below the knuckles. This area was usually
massaged by a midwife type person during childbirth(being a bit careful about
harmony and horoscopes) The entire Seagulls nest area was considered a caution
area duriing pregnancy. Pinky finger was a place for oils during pregnancy to
assist with dryness and to help lessen moisture problems. Medicine person
usually gave oils to pregnant person and asked them to self apply occasionally.
Horeshoes on the forelegs of pregnant horses was NOT Advised.


Rabbit Hopping  Hop lightly on toes and/or while sitting for infirmed. Medicine
person applied this technique for papalysis. Toes as springboard...Nei Ting,,
Spleen, Kidney, Triple Burner.


Deer Master  Cooresponds with Grandson of the Sovereighn.....Spleen 4 area
tonify hometreat for pregnant general preventative med.


Kuisiki ...Brave Bird walking....forefingers imitates walking
bird/plover/kildeer roughly at San Jiao meridian on arm and also other meridians
for instance connecting Liver points.


Binka - bink ...term for romance. Medicine person was often the marriage
councillor and/or marryer of people. Therapy and education of sorts was among
the 'tricks' up a medicine persons sleeve. We hope to have more on this as far
as ceremony styles, but one style observed was a bonding with a few words/and/or
a cloth usually on the arm of the couple usually with a simple wrap that was
easily removed by the couple. Arranged marriage not all that uncommon.

Rock rolling down the mountain .... technique for massage of the abdomen for
costipation. basically following the line alongside the hips from parralel tp
the belly button/navel down to the crotch area. Massage with fingertips. Caution
may cause water to break for pregnant.

touching the twisted root

Testing the Cats Whiskers - pulling out motion in the air usually from
4 - 5" away from face at the area of the Wolf and bear whiskers
technique from upper lip area to ear. Psychosematica, shock, head
injury, tooth rehab and preventative, child abuse and elderly
diagnosis, infant diagnosis, a good medicine person could actually
make a patient feel 'something' when this technique was applied.

Ourumjiwash - waves washing on the shore. ...(see orange?) Rubb
underside of forearm ulna side at area of heart meridian from elbow to
wrist back and forth motion with opposite hand....heart, env of
heart,Triple Burner, mental health, sexual disfunction.

Stealing from the Stork/crane.....patient or medicine person gently
pokes under toungue area wwith forefinger with thumb on midchin area.
Triple Burner, stomach meridian, sometime with a mentally ill person the
Medicine person would use a stick for this technique.



... Stealing feathers - pinch and lift technique at some meridian
points, tonify , bleed effect sometimes used in conjunction with cupping.

These translations of Native American style may not be exact
translations but as best as I can remember...
Native American style and meridian treatment often cooincide. If only
treating and area or meridian from a different angle.

Ha Wa Owe - sit on a pinecone
stimulates Conc 1
psychosematica. ..child abuse..general tonification
small pinecone or one that can fit in patients hand, is placed under seat of
patient.
removed and usually burned

Wowo tche ....Climbing the tree.. patient is urged to mimic the arms
and legs movement of an animal climbing a tree. Good for diagnosis and
patient mental stability concerns.

leaning on a tree .. Hammne(o) (w) lower palm on above eyebrow area.
rock palm slowly back and forth and side to side. If a tree is
available the patient is placed standing up against the tree at the
same points above the eyebrow.
eyesight, urinary, toothache.
