Pulses are often overlooked probably because they can be confusing and hard to
read. Pulses vary with each patient and that is similar to diastolic and
systolic variables from patient to patient which makes it hard to compare.
Pulses are the most useful diagnostic tool however especially for patients that
you are familiar with. Pulses are well worth studying and taking even if it is
only for study purposes. If you already know that a person has a weakened organ
then it usually makes it easier to figure and the pulse will seem weak there for
that organ. Weakness or extra strength in a pulse usually means a treatble
meridian or link point. Problem diagnosis = before during and after treatment
pulses.
If we compare our bodies to a car's systems for study purposes we might make
these comparisons.
conception one - intake manifold
Gov 20 - timing
triple burner - carburator
pericardium - battery = properly charged and powered
earpoints - tires = always check for wear and tear / massage
pain in ear points usually means they need massage or treatment - lightly with a
toothpick to avoid splinters is a good alternative to needles and we hope to
locate a hardwood toothpick supply in the future. Doctors in China often use a
sharpened chopstick especially on contagious patients. Do not break the skin!
