A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can
totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting
a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for
within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Remember the "3" steps, STR .
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the
lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain
damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple
questions:

S - Ask the individual to smile.
T - Ask the person to speak a simple sentence.
(like : It is sunny out today, coherently)
R - Ask him or her to raise both arms.

Also, ask the person to 'stick' out the tongue...if the tongue is 'crooked',
if it goes to one side that is also an indication of a stroke.

Dr. Leo Rebello recommends following immediate steps once
stroke has been identified :-

Rest the patient and fan him or her.
Do not give anything stimulating to drink.
Take a clean needle, sterilize it if necessary,
and prick all ten fingers of the hand, one by one, drawing out a drop or two of
blood from each finger.
Apply homeopathic Arnica tincture on every finger before and after the needle
prick.
Then prick the ears, both lobes (bottom side) and likewise allow one or two
drops from each ear lobe. Apply Arnica before and after pricking the needle.
Give Arnica and Hypericum, 5 drops each, in one table spoon of warm water by
mouth.

By the above method, a stroke patient will recover within half an hour.

But if you rush him in the ambulance, get him to do several tests (involving
movement), not only a lot of precious time will be lost, but the movement on the
stretcher, in the ambulance, and the drugs pumped into the patient will do more
harm.

After brain insult the right part of the face was damaged. The right hand
and leg were hard to move. He was speaking with difficulties.
