I was hoping to get advice on the following problem. For the last
three years I have been constantly craving food. When I eat, I do not
feel full. If I do feel full, it does not last very long. Also, if I
go for more than five hours without eating, I get an intense hunger (
usually for sweets) combined with shakiness in the arms and legs and
feeling weak.
One chinese doctor said I have too much dry stomach heat, but I do not
know what that translates to in western medicine.
Could chinese medicine help me if I did have hypoglycemia?
Is there anything to say how long it should take after eating before I
should feel hungry?
Dear Duglas:
There is no equivalent for stomach dryness in western medicine. But you can be
sure bout overcoming that through chinese Medicine. Western Medicine will
relieve your simptoms only temporarily, but it is no solution to the problem at
it`s roots. Moreover, you`ll get side effects from alopatic medicine sooner or
later. Chinese Medicine can correct this illnes complete, but you must be
disciplined and perseverant in order to get the right results. If you have
access to acupunture, it is the best option. Go for it.
Good luck.
