Hello,

I suffer from arthritis of the knee and hip and have been told that
I should try acupuncture as a treatment. I have been going for a few
sessions now and the pain seems to have subsided a little. The
problem is having to keep up with the treatment. I go to an
acupuncturist as recommended by my friend but her clinic is far
away, and with this damp weather encroaching upon us now I cannot
face up to travelling to the clinic every week or so. A friend has
told me about a lamp called the 'BIOlamp' which is supposed to act
like acupuncture but you can use it yourself at home without using
needles. That sounds very good! The lamp uses a special kind of
heatwave which is good for the body. I did a search on the net and
read an article on this forum written by the Barefoot Doctor about
the BIOlamps. Has anyone tried this lamp? Before I get it I would
like to hear from anyone who has heard of or maybe used this lamp.

Thank you.

Mr Hovis
