As part of a wellness plan that includes dietary changes as well as an
exercise plan, Acupuncture can assist in balancing the body and
improving digestion and metabolism.
Many people are looking for a "magic bullet" that will allow them to
not make any lifestyle changes yet produce weight loss results.
This is an unrealistic idea, and people need to look deeper at their
health and dietary intake to see what simple changes they can make to
better themselves. Remember food is fuel for your body. It is like a
machine that needs the correct fuel (protein, vitamins, nutrients,
complex carbs, etc) to operate properly. If you put Pepsi in your gas
tank, your car wouldn't run. If your body isn't getting the correct
fuel, it will not run well or efficiently either.
The healthiest way is the slow way, but that allows your body to
adjust correctly. Remember, a person does not gain 1oo pounds in a
month, so they can't expect for it to be gone in that time.
