Hi, I'm an acupuncturist in Nyack, NY. I always tell my patients
first what my standard fee is , then wait to hear their response.
I try not to mention sliding scales right ou of the gait. I also ask
if they belong to any insuranse networks--like Aetna, which is most
inexpensive plan for patients in the acupuncture dept.
